I didn't pay rent to anyone for a year. The "bank" didn't take responsibly for the property. The tenants banded together and payed the gas(for the boiler bill). Unfortunately Conedison couldn't get into the basement and that bill also hasn't been paid for a year. They couldn't get in to turn off the service, fortunately for us.
Thank you it did seem very suspicious to me
