Lower East Side Tenement Museum -- Gumpertz Program

The Lower East Side Tenement Museum, 97 Orchard St. in Manhattan, is offering a two-hour program that will visit the restored apartment of Nathalie Gumpertz, a former resident of the tenement, at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow and at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Visitors will hear about the life and experiences of Gumpertz and of German immigrants to Manhattan's Lower East Side. The fee is $15 for the general public, $12 for students and senior citizens and $5 for museum members. Reservations are required. To make a reservation or for information, call the museum at 212-431-0233, Ext.555.
