broken windows

Posted by C.D. on September 27, 1999 at 10:35:27:

When I moved into my apartment last January, there was a large crack in one of the windows. The property manager said nothing and it wasn't letting air through
so I saw no reason to ask for it to be fixed. I DID take pictures tho before I moved in.

Just the other night, tho, my girlfriend was closing the window—gently. The window cracked again, this time creating a loose piece of glass.

The loose piece could, as loose pieces do, come out. I'm concerned the LL or property manager will make me pay at least some of the cost of replacing the window.

Is this a reasonable fear?
