My neice was evicted two years ago from an apartment complex in Baltimore County
Maryland.She originally signed a 1 year lease and was evicted after 7 months
for breach of lease.(owning a cat + other people staying there). She didn't fight the
eviction, she just moved out. Now she is being sued for the rent from the time
she was evicted to the end of the lease. Witnesses say the apartment was rented
within two months. What is she liable for, and is there any defense for her in
court?
