closet fell in need a lawyer??

Posted by Mary on October 10, 1999 at 22:51:18:

My closet fell in after repeated rainstorms and after leaking for a year and not being fixed (despite my complaints)

Many things got ruined and the building is sending over a insurance adjuster. But it is more than the items. My house is a dust pile, I can not breath with the mold and mildew in my apartment. I can't even sleep in the bedroom
anymore.

I want my building to move me to a bigger apartment (they have them and are warehousing them to sell the building).
They do not want to move tenants to better apartments.

Anyone have any idea if I have a case, and how do I find an attorney to handle this. I have asked around for a referral, but no one seems to know a tenant lawyer.

Any advise would be appreciated.
