I just found out that I am being overcharged on my rent. Thurcon Properties manages our building, but doesn't own it. CitiHabitats is the exclusive broker for our building, but Benjamin James wasn't my broker. I'm not sure if only the owner knows about overcharging or if Thurcon is in on it too. At any rate check with the Division of Housing and Community Renewal at 25 Beaver St., 5th floor (4 or 5 train to Bowling Green). They were able to help me a lot.
