I don't no anything that would compel him to inform you who the other renters are. Nor, would finding out later be grounds to break the lease. The only time you would have recourse is if the students actively caused problems (noise, etc.).

I wonder if anyone knows what remedies are available to me (a tenant)when a landlord fails to disclose that 3 floors (out of 16) will be student housing for a nearby university. I would not have signed a lease for the rent I pay if I knew part of the building would be a dorm.
