I live in NYC in a rent stabalized apartment with a written lease. I have not had hot water for the last 5 days (one day I had no water at all)
and I still don't know if the problem has been fixed.
My lease states that I cannot withhold rent for services the landlord does not provide unless provided by law.
Where do I find out if I can withhold some of my rent for this month? Does anyone out there know IF there is such a law?
