I just moved in to a two family house with no lease been there for six months. Now out of the blue my landlord tells me that I have to stop smoking or I will have to look for another place. He did not give me a time limit to be out by just said "smoking has to stop or you might want to look for another place to live".
Nothing was ever said about smoking and I have nothing in writting so where do i stand.
