OK you want answers well
#1 when you deal with a corporation, apt.complex YOU CANT WIN!......If they require a credit check,
well they require a credit check...
So you have the ONLY alternatve #2......You must put on all of your charm and hustle
a PRIVATE homeowner into renting you an apartment......
say in a 2 family house..sure you might lose some privacy having your LL live in the same house,
but after a year or two you will have a good reference THEN you will be able to rent in an apt complex...
Thats the easiet way to solve your problem

Hello!
: I am trying to relocate to Atlanta,GA from St.Louis,MO. This is my first time renting but I don't have good credit. I don't have any previous renters history, and I have a 8 year old defaulted student loan a a few unpaid bills that I am trying to pay off. I don't have any credit cards debts on my credit report. How can I rent the apartment I want without worrying about having to pay a security deposit? I have already explained to the apartment place that I am considering about my credit report. The first thing I feel I have done is be honest with the apartment people about my credit history. I worry that I will have to have a co-signer or is there something else I can do???
