hi. my roommates and I have been living in our apartment for over six months. our block of apartments was bought roughly four months ago.
we were not told of this until much later. we were not given the name, address or phone number of our new landlord until very recently. also,
the new owner has been delinquent on basic repairs more than once. all of this compounded by threatening, loud neighbors below us has created
an unlivable environment for us. is the lease legal now that we have new management? we just want to break the "lease" and move elsewhere.
what are our rights in this situation? I would appreciate any help you can give.
