What are you? A landlord? Why not simply stomp the guy into the sidewalk and have done with it?
FYI Mr. "I Got All The Poop On The Scoop", data on one's credit report can be altered via several venues. Please check your resources before spouting-off some drivel on a forum which can be accessed by the world (hence, www. Need we explain THAT to you as well?)
If there were extenuating circumstances surounding the issue at hand, one may addres them with prospective landlords and explain the circumstances surrounding the issue. Likewise, find out what service the landlord used to find the negative data and address the matter with the agency.
Above all, don't simply give-up hope.. as H. Scott would have you do. You have certain rights in this nation. Two of which happen to be the right to face accusers and to be heard.
Best of luck to you.
: you can't, just like you can't change a credit report because you don't like what's in the report.
