: I recently found out my landlord has appliances running off my fuse box.
: What can I do?

Simply deduct a nice amount from your rent check! Make sure you inform the landlord, though, in the following manner: Write a letter to the landlord saying: "As per our verbal agreement, I am deducting $25 a month from my rent check in order to cover the costs of providing electricity to your appliances."

The landlord will take notice, of course. Your problem will disappear quickly. Note: remember to avoid paying last month's rent so that landlord will not retaliate by stealing your deposit. Just a thought. Good luck.
