Rodney Dangerfield #1 enemy of NYC rent laws

Posted by richard on February 22, 1999 at 23:43:56:

> In Part 2 of this Bizzare Landlord Tenant case,

> Rodney Dangerfield wants a SECOND GAG ORDER

Dangerfield's seeks "to have the court prevent the cessation of the
malicious distribution of the pleadings in this case" "The sealing of
court records is that litigants ought not be required to air their dirty
laundry in public and subjected to public revelation of embarassing material
where no substantial public interest is shown"

ALSO: "There is no public in interest in commonplace landlord-tenant
dispute"

AND : " the daily publication of the proceedings in this case and the
Plaintiff's untruthful commentary about Rodney Dangerfield can not be of any
newsworthy interest to the general public"

...............OH YEAH.......right!!!!

It is only of concern to the over ONE MILLION Rent Controlled or Rent
Stabilized apartments in NYC , and the residents of them. When MY apartment is
still NOT REGISTERED, still under Rent Control, and Still Rodney Dangerfield
wants to evict us without our day in court.

WHO GIVES A FLYING ****** ABOUT WHAT RODNEY IS DOING THIS WEEK IN VEGAS????
