I have bastard landlord, that got more friendly over time. But what a battle
from hell. hes elderly to.hes probaly old and bitter. well, in order t oprotect your rigghts take pictures of all the things he does, like
throwing weeds on your car. buy a tape recorder, and record, him , when
hes not friendly. But my persoanl suggestions, is to just be firm, Say,
look it, this is my home I pay you rent for the right to have my space
in the world for privacy and as my home, if you want me to livein your home
and take care of you, and your senality, I'm not qualified. Nor do i want
to.But my time is valuable, ands all the time I spend wasting on you
I want and hourly rate for my work, that your forcing my mind to do, when,
I live here. You also, have no obligation to talk to him.tell him that. And, if he talks
to you you will file for and order of protection to have him stay away
from you in housing court.

: I am having a problem with my landlord. He is a retired elderly man who lives in the back of the house. I rent the front of the house from him. I am a good tenant, I don't make noise, I'm hardly home, I work all day and attend night school. I pay the rent on time, yet this man is always picking on something to bitch about. It has gotten to the point now that he is throwing garbage on my car, he is making my life very difficult in other to get rid of me. Is there any law against landlord abuse and harassment? I can't afford to move out right now. I've talked and wrote him a note stating that I seek a peacefull agreement with him. Apparently, it hasn't worked because this morning, I went to my car and again there were weeds on top of my car. Please, someone who is familiar with the law advise me on what to do?
