Recomendation for Lawyer in Manhattan? Honest and fair fees.

Postby NYCRNTR » Wed Sep 04, 2013 2:57 pm

My landlord is suing me in civil court for non-payment of rent.I have paid every month as far as I know unless there's an accounting error, and will be glad to pay if a month or more was missed.
Can someone recommend a lawyer based in Manhattan to represent me in court?
Thank You

Yes,but like a dentist, contractor, or plumber, would rather have a recommendation from experience from a member as opposed to the equivalent of looking in the Yellow Pages..I very we'll may use a site sponser if someone recommends them.
Thanks

Well Tenantnet is not exactly the "Yellow Pages" (dated reference- no one uses those any more) it is a tenants' forum. So these guys are directly marketing to tenants and, more specifically, to tenants who know how to make their complaints heard to other tenants.

This is probably better than a personal experience recommendation.
