Hey all,
I'm going to be subletting my stabilized apartment for a few months. I'm going through the landlord for the first time.
I've spoken to him and he said he wants some general info on the subtenants. ID, credit, that kind of thing.
My question is - if he gives me consent and even something written, should I still follow the procedures of 226-b? IE: sending him a letter via certified mail, etc.
As in, does this protect me in any way from something happening (him backing out) down the road?
