is it rent stabalized?

Postby zdesart » Sun Aug 04, 2002 1:11 pm

I moved into a renovated textile factory about a year ago. My lease is up soon and and wanted to know what rights i have upon renewing.
I don't know if the place is rent stabalized.
The building is old built in the 20's or 30's, but it was only renovated in the past couple of years.

If you could tell me if the building is rent stabalized or not that would be great.

If your building is a former factory I doubt it would come under rent stabilization but you can check at

Thanks for the response.
Next question, is there somewhere to look to find out the zoning of your building?

punch in your building borough, street and house number. then click on 'property history report' to see how the building is classified. there's also a link next to the 'building class' which explains the code.
