Scrie Renewal Was Revoked.. Makes 0 Sense

My mom's scrie renewal was revoked. But she falls within the guidelines of income and we renewed on time this year. I dont know whats going on. This make 0 sense. Can someone here help us?

Had you any warnings from the SCRIE staff? Did it advise you of your right to appeal? Have you spoken with the SCRIE ombudsperson?

Sure, maybe the LL knows, but based on some other cases we've seen, we strongly suggest the tenant contact SCRIE (Dept. of Finance) first. We've seen instances where the LL intentionally tried to get the SCRIE denied or revoked.

From above, we asked the poster for more clarity on 7/5/23 and he/she has not done so, so we're at a point where we can't suggest or offer an opinion on this case.

LLB, OK, those are good things to know, but given this poster has posted 7 times asking SCRIE questions (not on the same thread which we really encourage) and gotten a fair amount of our attention, and has not followed-up with more information on this thread (see our request above), let's just leave this thread alone. I suspect there is more going on than just the tenant forgetting to renew.
