Elevator Hell

Postby Dereine » Tue Dec 10, 2002 5:33 pm

The eleator in my building is out of service at least once a month. I've complained and have not received the desired results. I live on the 12th Floor and it is becoming an inconvenience as well as a physical demand. Are there laws, codes, etc. regarding this? Please help.

Well, it is good exercise.

But seriously folks, my guess is you'd have a good reduction of services case. You could also likely get the Buildings Dept. involved

Call the Elevator Division at (212) 566-4893 if there are any questions concerning safety or inspections of elevators.
