Landlord insisting on reapairing the apartment

I Told my lanlord I was moving to another state which I am. In my apartment the paint and drywall was cracking. the lanlord is inisiting that he repair it. I told him I will be out by Sunday. I am currently packing my belongings but still he wants to do repairs. Is there anything I can do about it.
