notice to cure

Postby gbm5 » Tue Jun 18, 2002 1:25 pm

can someone please explain exactly what to do when getting a 10 day "notice to cure"
In particular, my landlord sent a "notice to cure" indicating that i had sublet my apartment and this needed to be "cured" by a certain date. I am going to do this (i.e. move back in)- is this then the end of this or can they still proceed with an eviction?
My understanding is that once you "cure" then they have no case...is this true?
Also, do i have to be careful what i say in my response to the landlord (i.e. if i admit to the sublet am i opening myself up to further proceedings?
