If I am a month-to-month tenant in a co-op, and the owner gives me 30 days notice, but I am unable/unwilling to leave by the date he wishes me out, and he responds by harassment, moving my possessions out, and/or changing the locks, is that illegal? Do I have the same protections under NY Tenant Rights Law/same remedies as other tenants? If not, what resources/recourse DO I have?
