Let's Change HPD!!

After spending all day Friday waiting for a visit from the HPD inspector that never arrived, I've decided it's time to take action. Too many times I have stayed home from work waiting for the HPD inspector to arrive sometime between 9am and 5pm, but they never arrive. Well, I am done with that and I hope that everyone else who has had this problem (and I know you're out there) will join me in writing a letter to Mayor Bloomberg outlining our problems. Perhaps it won't do anything, but so far Bloomberg has shown a willingness to fight corruption and laziness within the city government, so it's worth a few minutes and the price of one stamp.

Let's flood his office with letters. I know I am not the only one this is happening to. Here's his address at City Hall.

Tell him we want inspectors to keep scheduled visits, to give us a specifc time frame (not 9am to 5pm), and how about a phone call before they arrive. It's not much to ask and it's what we deserve.
