My grandmother has lived in the apt for the last 14 years. (The LL lives down the hall.) the apt was in a pretty bad shape and we've finally convinced him to make repairs. There are holes in the linoleum tiles on the floor in the the kitchen and the floor is uneven. He says that by law he is only required to patch up the holes, not replace the entire floor. Is that true? How do I find out what constitutes reasonable repairs, as he claims that is what he is doing?
thanks,
