Interesting note in yesterday's news that NYCHA and several buildings downtown will be issuing rent adjustments to tenants effected by Hurricane Sandy, some of whom are still without power.

This makes me wonder how many of the 250,000 or so people south of 26th on the West side, and 39th St on the East side, who went without power, heat and hot water should also be entitled to a rent credit.
