Six Degrees of Separation from the Spodeks

All--
Those of you out there who have better memories than I, please help me out...I just _barely_ remember the case of the "Dracula Landlord," J. Leonard Spodek, who was forced to live in his own slum building so that he could endure the same indignities as his tenants did (until he was ultimately forced by the court to make necessary repairs). He was made to wear an electronic leg bracelet so that he could not abscond without serving his sentence of house arrest.
The reason I am bringing this up is that another Spodek has surfaced, and I am curious as to whether or not there is some kind of family connection. That is to say, there is now an Irving Spodek who is the manager of Queens Fresh Meadows Dev., LLC. Anybody know if he is related to the aforementioned Dracula landlord?
Also, are the father-and daughter judicial team of Judges Jules Spodek and Ellen Spodek all part of the same gene pool? To me, all of this is just too much of a coincidence.
