Question regarding California eviction

My boyfriend just bought a house about a month ago and invited me to move into it with him (we had previously lived together for two years in an apartment). He printed up a lease but he was stalling on us both signing it, saying it wasn't a priority since we're a couple. Now, he's broken up with me and kicked me out, made me give the key back, and refuses to let me return to move out my furniture and other personal possessions. Is there anything I can do about this?

Go to your local precinct and have the cops go with you to pick up your stuff. What your ex has done is illegal. Be prepared to get it all out and don't wait as he might just start tossing stuff.
Then be happy this creep is out of your life.
