Prohibited practice: terminate cable TV

Postby sunshine » Mon May 06, 2002 3:30 pm

Various states have a statute prohibiting a landlord from terminating/interrupting any services including but not limited to water, electric, garbage collection, etc. I would like to know of specific court decisions where the termination of Cable (or Satellite) TV service was found to fall under such statutes. These would most likely be lower level trial decisions not reported in the usual appellate reporters.

Any decision in any state would be of interest. The more the better! I am a tenant in Florida.

Thanks for your reply.
Thanks.
