Help - need legal advice/lawyer in Los Angeles

Postby <Aubchic> » Wed Mar 06, 2002 8:30 pm

Our landlord flat out lied about damages deducted from our security deposit. Our landlord is not the kind of person that can be trusted to do the right thing (the reason why we moved out) and the only way to get the appropriate money returned to us is to hire a lawyer and take her to small claims court. We we like to keep the lawyer fees low, or use a lawyer that takes a third of what the court issues.

Thank you

If you're in LA, why are you posting in a NYC Forum?

I have posted on this site before and received responses from other CA residents, including legal council. Even though it is NY dominated site, tenants from other states use it as well.
