I just found out that my LL is stealing electricity from my meter, and i think this is hapening for the last 10 years. I just call the electric company to see if they can make an investigation. Anyway i want to sue my LL for this,( is not about the money) where can o find any law advice about it?

Welllllll

The laws of NY and NJ can be very different despite their being close. In addition, the law changes depending on the county or town you are in.

But what you have described would constitute a theft of service (or utility) here in New York. You should address it as a criminal issue and call PSEG and your state's utility commission.

Don't be surprised if the LL looks shocked and amazed and feigns no knowledge of the electric theft....

However, before you do any of the above, try to have an electrician verify that you actually are having electricity stolen.
