Chronic Non-Pay Holdovers

Postby TenantNet » Wed Oct 01, 2014 3:35 am

I added a new article from the Law Journal on Chronic Non-Pays. See the last entry at viewtopic.php?f=15&t=10429&p=50994#p50994

Note the distinction between brtinging a holdover based on nuisance and one based on a violation of a substantial obligation of one's tenancy. One might be curable; the other perhaps not.

Tenants must be aware of this strong tool available to landlords and make sure that if and when you withhold rent, you have solid grounds as discussed in the article.

Discuss amongst yourselves :)
