Today's New York Law Journal features a decision by Manhattan HC judge M. Schreiber santioning LL's atty L. Wolf for issuing 3rd-party subpoenas (request for data from Verizon, etc) without notifying the tenant and also directing data to his office instead of the court, violations of the law. Tenant atty James B. Fishman won his request for the subpoenas to be quashed (cancelled) and for the Court to apply 22 NYCRR Part 130 sanctions (fines) against LL's atty.
