Civil Court Unveils Automated Phone System

The New York City Civil Court has implemented an automated telephone system allowing callers to obtain information about active housing cases and other cases in Civil and Small Claims Court.

Callers can request court forms by fax, learn about postponements and adjournments, listen to directions to the courthouse and check the current status of a case. The system operates through touch-tone phones or voice commands and is available in Spanish.

For housing cases, call (212) 791-6070. For Civil and Small Claims, call (212) 791-6000.
