sucession rights

Postby patree125 » Wed Feb 19, 2003 3:52 am

if the main tenant passes away, and you have been living with them (your mother's apt) but haven't been on the lease, but all your documents are all in your name and your mom's address is where you recieved all your mail, because that is the address you reside for over 3years..you sent LL all documents and asking for the rights of apt.
and the lease expires the end of 2003, do you pay the same rent your mom paid? or can LL increase you before lease expires? and if he gives you a lease in your name how much rent increase is he allowed?
thank you
