The LL is charging an illegal sublet for lack of notice. If the Housing Court determines I subletted my apartment illegally, does the court usually still give the 10 day period to cure after the decision by removing the sublettor and thereby allow me to keep my rent-stabilized apartment?
Is there anyway for me to belatedly fix it and allow the sublet to stay?
Also, the landlord is now asking for $1000 more a month for Use & Occupancy. Does the court actually typically allow that?
