If I don’t resign my rent stabilized lease, if my roommate could get the Landlord to rent this apartment to her, what is the maximum amount they could raise the rent on her new lease?
Would it stay rent stabilized if the rent stays below $2K/month?
Can she ask them not to renovate, so she doesn’t have to move her stuff out and not pay extra? If they do rennovate what is the max % they can raise the rent?
