Info on a lawyer

Postby Schmuckler » Thu Jan 09, 2003 3:21 am

Does anyone have info on Candice Carpenter or Daphna Zackeria? They are both lawyers for housing court and I am interested in any experiences anyone may have had with them in or out of court. Pro or Con welcome. Please be honest!

I've never heard of Candice Carpenter.

Daphna Zekaria used to be the law partner of Colleen McGuire, who used to do the summaries for TenantNet's Housing Court Decisions.

However Colleen McGuire left the firm at the end of 2002, and Daphna Zekaria is now partnered with her husband, Robert Sokolski.

Check out this item from TenantNet about McGuire, Zekaria, and Sokolski.

I was once referred to Candice, but did not use her (yet). However I was referred to her by the attorney who presided over my purchase and sale of a co-op. He's great...so I trust his recommendation.
