I found out recently that my landlord has been coming in and out of my apartment without my knowledge, or sending others in, to let in a plumber and such. I have asked him to inform me if anyone is to come into the apartment again. If I see evidence that people have been in it, should I call 911?
I am also being evicted (not for non-payment of rent, but so the LL can develop the property). Should I discuss the illegal entries at my hold-over hearing? What about other illegal matters that have involved me and the apartment? How would I introduce the information -- at what point in the hearing?
