Gas out for two weeks!

In order to do some construction on the street outside my Park Slope apartment, they turned off the gas. Now, two weeks later, our gas is still off. My landlady has repeatedly told me that the problem would be fixed immediately, but nothing has been done (the other two tenants in the building had their gas restored right away). Is there anything I can do about reducing the amount of rent I pay for this month? Any advice would be appreciated.
