I live 6 blocks from WTC (zone 2)since last June. My lease is up this month, and while the rent went down in the whole building, I've got $60.00 increase. There's a vacant apartment in the same building, with a rent $260.00 less then mine. I asked my management if I could move there, they're trying to rent it to someone else, trying to either make me stay in my apartment with the increased rent or move out. Is it a discrimination? Do I have any rights in this case?
