NO hot water

Postby NYCrenter » Wed Jan 15, 2003 11:32 am

My apartment is located above a restaurant. We have had major issues with hot water for the past month and a half (we have been living in the apartment for only 2 and a half months). While the problem has been temporarily fixed, it contiunes. Furthermore, if the restaurant has hot water, they do not believe we have a problem. What sort of documentation should I get and what are my rights in terms of rent reductions and forcing the landlord to make major rennovations? Thanks!
