'Lease of a Condominium Unit' Sale of Unit

Postby Nypaloto » Thu May 07, 2009 9:22 am

Have searched for answers, but couldn't find any post addressing this specific topic. My rental offer for a new condo apartment has been accepted, and the landlord presented me with a 'Lease of a Condominium' agreement (A101), for a 24-month lease.

Paragraph 17, Sale of Unit, says that Landlord shall have the right to end the Lease by giving 30 days notice, in the event the unit gets sold.

Does that really mean what it says, essentially giving the Owner the right to sell the apartment anytime, and then kicking me out? I'm supposed to return the contract today, so would appreciate quick replies.

Thanks for any help!
