New York City, Non-Regulated, 3-family house
My lease expired a few months ago and I became a month-to-month tenant. Then last month, Landlord served a 30-day Termination Notice. I'm fine with moving out, but won't be able to until about 2 weeks after the Termination Date.
Do I have to pay a full months rent for the 2 week holdover. What can the LL do if I don't pay, or pay only 2 weeks worth. Can LL deduct from my Security Dep. so he has a full months rent.
