Lease without an expiration date

Postby queensborough » Mon Jun 15, 2009 2:19 pm

What happens if someone has a lease with a "starting date" on the lease but without any expiration date. This lease has basically been in effect for 5 years.

Would this lease still be considered a good?

Are you saying that there is no "term" (period of time) whatsoever specified in the lease?

Yes. It has a starting date, but there is no expiration date written on the lease. It doesn't say one year or anything else giving a period of time. I doubt it was intentional, probably an oversight.
