If you make a Notice to Vacate/Quit agreement with. a landlord to vacate an apartment in a certain time frame (say 2 months). What, if anything, would void. such an agreement?

We need to know more. Are you in a rent stab unit? Or unregulated unit? How long is your lease and when is it over (how much time is left)?

Were you represented by an attorney? Did you want to leave, or did the LL want you to leave? What was the nature of the agreement to leave - bad conditions in the unit, harassment, your desire to leave for unrelated reasons?

Was there ongoing litigation and was the agreement made as part of that litigation? Was the agreement approved (so ordered) by a judge?

Did the LL give you any consideration in exchange your you're agreeing to leave?

In short, we need more details - but do not post any personal information, this is a public forum.
