Succession Rights, Am I eligeble? Need Someone's Help

Postby Igor » Thu Jun 28, 2007 5:19 pm

About half a year ago me and my grandmother moved into a mitchel lama bldg. together and now she doesn't want to live there becuase it's to far away from my aunt's house. I am in the income affidavit and want to transfer the apartment from her name into my name. I have read the rule on succession rights and know that I have succession rights on the apartment because me and her moved in together at the same time but am scared that I might slip up and don't have the money to pay for a lawyer to take care of it for me. What I need to know is what paperwork I have to file to have the switch made and will I have a problem if we only lived there for six months, will they try to evict me for no reason (heard alot of stories). Any websites would help or if any one knows a free or extermly cheap lawyer, please let me know. Thanks.
