Coop owner with tenant question

Postby bronxcoop » Tue May 17, 2011 8:50 pm

Hello All,
I am a coop owner who bought her junior 4 a year and a half ago. Since the purchase my boyfriend has lived with me and was named as a tenant. He began helping me with paying the maintainance and mortgage one month ago. Recently, we decided to break up, but he said he would leave on his own time frame. What are my rights as the owner. Do I legally have to give him a grace period. What legal process can I take to encourage him to move out quicker. Hopefully, it doesn't come to this but I need to know my rights.

Thanks in advance for you advice!
