Pets Not Allowed in Coop

Postby samtuen505 » Wed Sep 02, 2009 1:49 pm

I live in a coop in Long Island & recently have put my apartment up for sale. After 4 months, I finally have a buyer & he has a dog. The Board has blocked the sale because of no dogs allowed in the building according to the by law. We have a number of people who have dogs and cats in their apartment, even one of the Board members have a dog. The Board have not enforced this rule before until now. What can I do?[/b]

This is a tenant web site. I'd look for a site that has information for coop owners.
The Tenant Network(tm) for Residential Tenants
Information from TenantNet is from experienced non-attorney tenant
activists and is not considered legal advice.
