can one person be removed from a lease that has 3 leassers?

i have moved in with my boyfriend and my brother. all three of us have signed the lease and pay 1/3 of the rent each. The way the rent would be distributed among the three was never specified within the lease agreement nor discussed with the landlord.

I am leaving my boyfriend which is making a difficult situation. I will continue to pay my 1/3 as well as my brother. My boyfriend will no longer have acess to my car, which means no way to work or an income to pay his 1/3. my brother and i are more than capable to continue on with the lease for the remainder of the lease agreemnt, between the two of us. If this is expressed to my landlord would she have grounds to remove my boyfriend from the lease?

No. He's a signer on a legal document. The other signers can't magically remove him.

See if he will agree to be removed (probably thrilled to be removed) and then get the LL to agree and have it all signed and in writing.
